Contest Rules & Regulations.
-
All horse and dog owners are welcome to enter
the talent show. Each entrant will have 5 minutes to present their horse or
dog’s talent. The talent is specifically for the horse or dog, not owner,
rider or handler. For example you may display talent in tricks, liberty,
Frisbee, agility, dressage, jumping, etc.
-
Entries are due by October 5th so that the Equine
Extravaganza staff has ample time to accept entries before the expo.
-
The selected entrants to appear have the option of
renting a stall to stay overnight or trailering in for the day. The cost to
rent a stall for the weekend is $175 and the cost to trailer in for the day
is $50. This is in addition to the $25 non-refundable entry fee. (Horses
that stay for all three days may also participate in selected clinics free
of charge.)
-
There will be three judges selected to preside over
the competition. The judges will be knowledgeable and professionals in
their field – either equine or canine. The judges will be chosen for
neutrality and professionalism.
-
A prize will be awarded to the winner at the end of the
talent competition after all scores have been calculated.
