Breed Competition

The Equine Extravaganza® is pleased to present three exciting daily presentations of horses for the delight and education of our audience; daily Breed Pageant (breed demonstrations) and a daily Stallion Showcase in which stallion owners can present their stallions individually.  This presentation will be part of our breed club competition  in which breed clubs will compete for the best representation of their breed.  Participants will be judges on authenticity of breed representation, diversity of breed, and pageantry.  Contestants will also be judges on the presentation of their booth including attractiveness, originality and educational component.  Winning club will receive a free booth and stall for the following year's event and 20 tickets for their club, a value of $975.  Winner must be part of an organized breed club.  Winners will be chosen on Friday and at both events.  NC's winner will be featured in the evening show and VA's winner will be featured in the opening ceremonies of the trainer challenge on Friday and Saturday evenings.  Winning clubs will also receive a feature page on the Equine Extravaganza® website with a link to their club.

Breed Pageant/Breed Pavilion

Our daily Breed Pageant offers our attendees the chance to witness firsthand the diversity and variety of horses that are available in the Mid-Atlantic area. This exciting and fast paced event will highlight breeds in their common and uncommon roles and may be in-hand, under saddle or in harness. Each breed is presented with a script which describes the breed, it's disposition and style and it's variety of uses within the horse world and may include music. You will see a wide variety of costumes and equestrian garb as these riders present their horses in a spectacular array of present-day and historical situations. Stallion Avenue/Stallion Showcase
Our stallion showcase will allow stallion owners to present their stallions individually in the arena once a day. We can accommodate up to 15 stallions on a first come. first served basis. Stallion stalls include booth and stall.  Shavings will be available for purchase or you may bring your own.  Stallions will be showcased once each day in the Stallion Showcase.

Breed Pavilion and Stallion Exhibits
Booth and stall in breed pavilion: $695
Additional stalls in breed pavilion: $350
Booth only in Breed Pavilion for Breed Club or Association ($450)
Additional stalls in general stabling area: $160 (includes admission for one person for three days)
Booth, only, in exhibit hall for clubs and associations: $595 ($100 savings)
Bedding will be available for purchase.
