Trail and Gaited Enthusiasts Celebrate as Tom Seay and Liz Graves Join Equine Extravaganza’s Celebrity Line-Up

Doswell, VA – The excitement mounts as this year’s Equine Extravaganza rounds out its exceptional cast of equine experts with two more horse industry icons.  Equine Extravaganza is pleased to welcome Tom Seay, the producer and talent from the TV show “Best of America by Horseback”, and gaited clinician extraordinaire, Liz Graves, to the already star studded cast, October 29-13, 2010 at The Meadow Event Park, Doswell, Virginia.

Tom Seay’s trail riding experience is virtually unparalleled.  In 1995 he led “The American Transcontinental Trail Ride” where he took a group of horseback riders and wagons from Savannah, Georgia, all the way to San Diego, California.  It was a four and a half month trail ride with more than 250 riders participating.  Not only does Tom have the personal trail riding experience to share, but he has a vast wealth of general horse knowledge that he has been gathering since he was five years old.

Program Director Rachael O’Hara stated, “Tom offers such a diverse and entertaining perspective for Equine Extravaganza attendees. Trail riding is a popular discipline, and Tom has a wealth of knowledge and vast personal experience to share, from where to ride to how to improve your trail riding experience.”  Tom will conduct demonstrations and clinics throughout the weekend on Trail Riding, sharing his knowledge and personal experiences of the trail. Tom will also serve as commentator for Equine Extravaganza’s 1st All Women Trainer Challenge.

Liz Graves, although a new face to Equine Extravaganza, is no stranger to the gaited horse world.  Liz will be joining the Equine Extravaganza line-up in October to share her expertise with eager gaited horse enthusiasts. Liz has been riding for most of her life.  She has broad show experience and her solid reputation as a gaited trainer puts her in high demand for training gaited horses and riders nationwide, as well as judging competitions. Through her demos and clinics she will share her knowledge on improving all aspects of the gaited experience.

“Gaited clinics are in such demand and we are thrilled to welcome Liz Graves this year,” said Rachael O’Hara.  “She has exceptional experience and much knowledge to share with gaited horse owners and was a popular request from our gaited community.”

The Equine Extravaganza is an absolute must attend for the horse owner, horse lover, or even the casual horse enthusiast, and now for dog lovers, as well! There is truly something for everyone!
