Equine Extravaganza Names Terri Sharp as Executive Producer

Sharp brings 22 years of equine trade show and event production to Equine Extravaganza.

May 17, 2010:  Equine Extravaganza announced today that Terri L. Sharp has been named Executive Producer of Equine Extravaganza events. As Executive Producer, Terri will assist with overall event production including Equine Extravaganza’s trade show and sponsorship programs as Equine Extravaganza makes the much anticipated move to the new state-of-the-art Meadow Event Park in Doswell, Virginia. 

“We are delighted to have Terri join the Equine Extravaganza team,” said Vicki O’Hara, Equine Extravaganza’s President. “Terri has an unsurpassed reputation for excellence in event production and brings a wealth of trade show and production expertise to our event.”   

Terri’s professional experience in the equine industry includes managing 35 events for Equine Affaire nationwide, as well as numerous major events and trade shows for the National Reining Horse Association. 

“We are at a point of significant expansion as we move our event to the Meadow Event Park,” said O’Hara. “The addition of Terri to our team ensures the best possible transition in this important time of new growth and development.”

Rounding out the full-time staff, Rachael O’Hara will serve as the Equine Extravaganza’s Program Director, a position she has held part-time in the past while attending University of Maryland. Rachael will resume her responsibilities immediately following her graduation in May. 

With the addition of a canine component to the event and more festival-like features, including more live music, a Cowboy Cook-Off, cooking demonstrations, and our new ALL WOMEN Trainer Challenge, Equine Extravaganza continues to reach beyond the ordinary, bringing attendees a robust and exciting program of education, shopping, and excellent family entertainment.
